• Account & Contact Information: Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, State, and Medical College (collected during registration and profile update).
• Authentication Data: One-Time Passwords (OTPs) and encrypted credentials used for secure multi-factor login verification.
• Academic Performance Data: Mock test scores, time spent per question, question bank bookmarks, test attempt logs, and performance analytics.
• Payment & Transaction Records: Transaction reference IDs, selected plan durations, payment status, and timestamps. (Note: Sensitive card details and UPI PINs are processed securely by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways and are never stored on MedQprep servers).
• Device & Usage Information: IP address, browser type, device operating system, and platform usage metrics to prevent multi-device account sharing and maintain security.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create, manage, and authenticate your MedQprep student account.
• To deliver computer-based test (CBT) mock simulations, previous year question analytics, and personalized scorecards.
• To provision active Pro subscription plans and handle transaction support.
• To send essential service communications, such as OTPs, subscription expiry notices, and critical exam updates.
• To protect against fraudulent activities, unauthorized logins, screen scraping, and content theft.

4. Data Security & Storage Guarantee

We implement modern technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure:

• Encryption: All data transmissions between your browser and our servers are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
• No Sale of Data: MedQprep does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal details or contact numbers to any third-party advertisers or telemarketers.
• Access Restrictions: Access to user information is strictly limited to authorized engineers and customer support personnel.

5. Cookies & Session Storage

MedQprep uses essential session cookies and local storage to keep you logged in securely, save your in-progress mock test answers, and remember user interface preferences. We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site advertising trackers.

6. User Rights & Account Deletion

Every registered user on MedQprep possesses the following rights regarding their data:

• Access & Update: You can review and update your name, email, and college via your Profile Edit Page.
• Account Deletion: You can request complete erasure of your account, bookmarks, and test history at any time by sending an email from your registered email address to info@medqprep.in. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

7. Compliance with Indian IT Laws

This Privacy Policy is formulated in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
